Rat-n-Tackle is an 2.5 D peaceful exploration game following a small rat called Spud living the life of an angler in the sewers. Created in a small group, we recieved 13 weeks to develop this demo. The demo created process included, development, documentation writing, QA testing, debugging, cross-disciplinary working and showcasing product at an expodition.

This was my first exploration into programming in Unreal as I had only ever experienced and learnt programming with Unity's C#. This posed as a challenge but with dedication and daily work, I became proficient with Unreal navigation and utilisation.

For this project I worked on gameplay, UI, physics, cinematic, tools and audio programming. As I was Lead programmer for the group, I worked across the whole project, interacting with every member of the group thoroughly to ensure the elements were used as intended by those creators, and suited to the games direction.
